​Led by HE the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, the Board of Directors at the Saudi Exports Development Authority has officially appointed Engineer Abdulrahman bin Sulaiman Althukair as CEO at Saudi Exports.

Althukair expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the trust HE the Minister put in him, vowing to spare no effort in enhancing and developing Saudi Exports' business operations whilst collaborating closely with all his teams and colleagues. He also conveyed his commitment to augmenting the contribution of Saudi Exports to economic growth as well as maximizing the percentage of non-oil exports in what serves to realize Saudi Vision 2030 and sustain the Kingdom's progress and development.

Prior to his appointment, HE had served as Vice Governor at the Zakat, Taxes, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) and as the chair of SAFE Working Group at the World Customs Organization since October 2020 after the members of the board voted him in. He currently serves as board member at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), the National Centre for Water Efficiency, the Saudi Standards Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), and the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Business Administration from Kansas State University, USA.
