Riyadh, September 2017 - The Saudi Trade Mission will start next Monday its two-day business meetings in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum under the leadership of the Saudi Export Development Authority "Saudi Exports", the mission's activities organizer, with 27 national participant companies.
This mission comes within the programs and services offered by "Saudi Exports" to the companies registered with it, in order to achieve the objectives of promoting Saudi products and services in international markets. The decision of "Saudi Exports" to head towards Khartoum aims to discover the export opportunities in Sudan in order to give national products better access to the promising Sudanese market and help local exporters open up new markets for their products by allowing them to meet with the importers there. The Saudi Export Development Authority will also organize business-to-business matchmaking sessions between Saudi exporters and potential buyers in Sudan, aiming to create exceptional opportunities for Saudi products to achieve greater openness to international markets.
The Secretary-General of "Saudi Exports", Eng. Saleh Al-Solami stressed its interest in enhancing the trade and economic relations and investment cooperation between the Saudi Arabia and Sudan, noting that this mission includes Saudi companies specialized in various industrial and service sectors from food industries, building materials, packaging, petrochemicals and IT. He also pointed out that the Authority is working to stimulate companies from different sectors and enable them to develop their businesses in international markets and leverage the available opportunities.
It is noteworthy that "Saudi Exports" employs all its capabilities to improve the efficiency of the export environment; build export capacities; promote exporters and their products; create export opportunities; develop programs for exporters; encourage them; promote Saudi products in international markets; and increase their competitive quality in order to help them access these international markets in a way that reflects the position and quality of the Saudi product and to serve as a tributary to the national economy. The work of "Saudi Exports" comes as a translation of the Saudi Vision 2030 and a response to the aspirations of the wise leadership towards diversifying the sources of income for the national economy.
