The Saudi Exports Development Authority has attracted the largest number of visitors in "GITEX Technology Week 2015", held at the Dubai World Trade Exhibition Centre, which ended last Thursday. About 33 national technology companies in the "SAUDI EXPORTS" Pavilion were able to gain a better share of the regional market, in addition to an increase in transactions concluded in the exhibition.
This achievement was the result of mastery by representatives of companies of introducing and marketing techniques. Latest local industries and services are of high quality and they cover telecommunications and information technology and smart applications for government sectors, in addition to the next generation Internet. This success was noticeable through increased visitors to the national Pavilion in one of the most important annual trade fairs of computers and electronics around the world. The Saudi Pavilion has received thousands of visitors ranging from senior executives and IT and communications experts from around the world.
The "SAUDI EXPORTS" has achieved its goals of increasing and improving readiness to export opportunities for to the Saudi products, as such stimulating participant Saudi companies towards exporting technological services, working on the development of efficient export environment and facilitating access to international markets. This will ensure the advancement of national technology and promote the concepts of knowledge economy. Consequently this will increase the level of income and improve the Kingdom's competitiveness in this sector.
The Authority hopes that its efforts and activities will be an added value to the Saudi manufacturers in a way that will positively impact the national economy in general and growth of national companies in particular through stimulating these companies and enabling them to develop their business in international markets and making use of the available opportunities.
