The Secretary General of the "SAUDI EXPORTS" Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Hakbani, said that the general budget for 1436/1437 shows the interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz -May God save him- in continuing the development process to achieve his aspirations in drawing a prosperous future based  upon a knowledge economy in order to achieve comprehensive sustainable development throughout the Kingdom, and eventually contribute to the prosperity of the country and welfare of its citizens, and to support the development and advancement.

Al-Hakbani said that the adoption of the state budget for this year and the allocation of SR 95 million for the Authority is a clear and obvious indicator of the leadership's attitude to diversify sources of income. This diversification could be achieved by encouraging access of the Saudi products to the international markets, which is one of the most important roles played by the "SAUDI EXPORTS ". Al- Hakbani also confirmed that the approval of the budget came to realize the ambitious vision and clear will of the country leadership to develop Saudi exports that are diverse and competitive globally in accordance with clear roles and effective strategic steps that could contribute to the promotion and success of the exported Saudi product to make it a landmark in international markets.

Al-Hakbani explained that the general budget is a continuation of the state policy in strengthening the national economy by directing more support to development projects that target human resources as an essential element in the future development plans. Undoubtedly, this budget will impact many major and service sectors alike through huge allocations that reflected the State's tendency towards completing the infrastructure so as to contribute to the welfare of the citizen. "We also look forward to this budget to be a remarkable and an encouraging factor for the economic sectors in general and the export environment in particular. This gives organizations of the private sector the chance to be more open to global markets, and gives them more opportunities to promote and develop their products and achieve real added value to the Saudi industry and its exports."

Finally, we pray Almighty to preserve and sustain the country's precious blessings of security and prosperity under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, May God protect him!, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to achieve more prosperity, growth and well-being for the people of this blessed country.
