Earlier this year, Saudi Exports Development Authority (SAUDI EXPORTS) launched the first phase of the Export training certificate support program in cooperation with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Academy. The program included 300 training grants from (SAUDI EXPORTS) to employees within 132 national companies in several sectors in order to prepare and obtain the ICC Export Import Certificate.
The program is delivered online by ICC Academy, which gives trainees the flexibility to study materials for five courses along with a competency exam to become certified. The program is intended to build the export capacity of Saudi companies to increase their readiness to export and enhance their international competitiveness.
(SAUDI EXPORTS) congratulated Mr. Khalid Al Turki, owner of the Sanaa Taiba Trading Establishment, on the occasion of successfully passing the program and obtaining the ICC Export Import Certificate as the first candidate within the (SAUDI EXPORTS) training grants. Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Khalid spoke about his experience in the certification journey, noting the quality of the content and its relevance to best practices through five courses that ensure participants' acquisition of necessary skills and knowledge in export operations. Mr. Khalid also spoke about the importance of continuous development and staying current with the field.
(SAUDI EXPORTS) representative also met with Mr. Abdulmalik Al-Zuhairi, an export specialist at United Food Industries Company (Deemah), to congratulate him on his achievement as the second (SAUDI EXPORTS) candidate to earn the ICC Export Import Certificate. According to Mr. Al-Zuhairi, this training program provided an in-depth understanding of international trade, export and import operations and management to successfully compete in foreign markets. The knowledge gained from this program enhances his competency in current and future export business.
