Represented by the Saudi Export Development Authority (SEDA) and in partnership with the Saudi-Iraqi Business Council, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating at the 47th Baghdad International Fair as an honorary guest and under a diamond sponsorship with a large pavilion, comprising seven government agencies and 95 Saudi companies specialized in construction, food, healthcare, packaging, transport, logistics services, and technology with the aim of promoting national products and services and enhancing their access into promising regional markets.
The Kingdom’s pavilion at the prestigious fair is organizing a number of events and promotional activities, including the “Saudi House" fully built with Saudi-made products, the “Saudi Tent,” and a separate section showcasing Saudi technological services and innovation.
The Kingdom's participation at the 47th annual Baghdad International Fair is a re-emphasis of the historical, commercial, and economic relations between the two countries, and also a confirmation of the efforts made by SEDA its partners in enabling and supporting Saudi manufacturers and exporters from various sectors to enhance and facilitate the access of their products and services to the Iraqi market as one of the most important regional markets, in an effort to achieve the targets of the Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify sources of revenues for the national all within the aim of raising the percentage of non-oil exports from the non-oil gross domestic product to 50 percent by 2030.
