Workshop Description:

The course aims to familiarize itself with the concept of commercial compliance and its importance. The course deals with customs procedures and ways of shipping and transporting goods to international markets, and also highlights the terminology of international trade (incoterms).

• The concept and relevance of commercial compliance
• Elements of commercial compliance and their relationship to customs procedures
• The role of commercial compliance in protecting companies from fines and reducing shipping costs
• Introduction to customs procedures
