The Saudi Export Development Authority "Saudi Exports" in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Investment organized a workshop entitled "Avoid Saudi Exports Falling into The Trap of Dumping" for Saudi exporting and export-wishing companies. The workshop took place on Tuesday, Rabi 'Al Awwal 17, 1439H corresponding to December 5, 2017 from 9 am to 2 pm at Copthorne Hotel, Riyadh.
This workshop came part of the package of activities and programs offered by "Saudi Exports" to boost the national export system by raising the export level and readiness of enterprises and building exporters' capacities through modern training programs and advanced workshops. The workshop included an introduction to WTO and anti-dumping and highlighted on how to avoid falling into the trap of dumping, in addition to introducing the role of the Trade Remedies Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Investment (Support & Backup).
It is worth mentioning that "Saudi Exports" employs all its capabilities to improve the efficiency of the export environment; build export capacities; promote exporters and their products; create export opportunities; develop programs for exporters; encourage them; promote Saudi products in international markets and increase their competitive quality in order to help them access these markets in a way that reflects the position and quality of the Saudi product and serve as a tributary to the national economy. The work of "Saudi Exports" comes as a translation of the Saudi Vision 2030 and a response to the aspirations of the wise leadership towards diversifying the sources of income of the national economy.
