For his part, the Secretary-General of the Saudi Export Development Authority, Eng. Saleh Al-Solami said that these participations aim to strengthen local industries, open up new export channels for Saudi companies in regional and international markets, highlight the Saudi product as a competitive product to its global counterpart in terms of price and quality, towards increasing the shares of local products in international markets, thus enhancing the contribution of this sector to the gross domestic product.
Al-Solami also pointed out that the Kingdom's pavilion at these exhibitions serves as a suitable platform to promote the products of national establishments as well as to highlight their quality and international competitiveness, noting that such participation at international exhibitions ensures direct communication with customers, conclusion of business deals, identification of competitors and boosting the image of the participating entity in foreign markets.
