SAUDI EXPORTS" Concludes Activities of the Foundational Stage, Organizes the 12th Saudi Stand
The Saudi Exports Development Authority "SAUDI EXPORTS" has completed organization of the Saudi Pavilion at EurasiaPlast exhibition in Istanbul, in which about 20 companies representing various plastic industries will take part. This is the 12th time the Authority organizes the Saudi Pavilion since the start of the foundational stage late in 2013. The aim of the participation organized by the "SAUDI EXPORTS" is to open potential export markets by communicating with existing customers and opening broader prospects with new customers. This is hard to achieve unless the national factories realize the requirements of customers which may lead to a practical change plan by developing products and services appropriate for the requirements of various markets. All this will contribute to the development of competitive capabilities of these firms through platforms that simulate the target markets, like EurasiaPlast exhibition.
Saudi Consul General in Istanbul Musa'ed Al-Qanawi opened the Saudi Pavilion at the EurasiaPlast exhibition, which takes place from 4 to 7 December. Jaber Al-Shehri, "SAUDI EXPORTS" Broad member attended the opening ceremony during which he saw high quality products showcased by national companies participating in the Saudi Stand. Such products gained this high quality over the past decades and became one of the leading industries whose the Kingdom is renowned by.
It is worth noting that the plastics industry has grown remarkably over the past years, with high and growing opportunities for growth in the future. Saudi Arabia tops the list of countries producing plastics in the GCC region.
The exhibition is held in Istanbul in collaboration with the Turkish Association of Plastics Industry. A total of 1,078 companies from 93 countries are taking part in it. EurasiaPlast exhibition is held in Istanbul on an area of 90,000 square meters, and it offers a significant contribution to this sector in the form of increasing the competitive power, access to new markets and finding important investment trends, which made EurasiaPlast Istanbul a gathering venue for more than 40,383 professionals for 4 days.
Through the activities associated with the committees of foreign purchases concurrent with the exhibition in the targeted geographic territories in the field of plastics industry and with the participating companies, the exhibition opens the door for the creation of new sales opportunities for the sector in general and Saudi companies in particular. It also provides access to new markets. These results demonstrate once again that the exhibition is gaining more importance in many countries around the world that seek to promote their products of plastics in international markets.
